Bryan has asked us to let you all know that his wife, Susan died unexpectedly in mid November, from a heart attack. Susan was only 64 years old. Bryan and Susan had been planning on spending a long and happy retirement together. His family have been supportive. I am sure all the club members, especially those who sail regularly with Bryan, the club`s most dedicated sailor, wish him all the very best and look forward to seeing him up at the club...

Loscar Wind Farm Community Fund Grant

In June the Club applied for and was successful in receiving a £411 grant from Loscar Wind Farm Community Fund towards a £2000+ weed cutter which is mounted on the front of a Dory rescue boat. Members from all sections of the club; Model Yacht, Dinghy Sailors and Yorkshire Outdoor Swimmers (YOS) have spent over 60 hours cutting the weed which has improved the sailing, swimming and fishing.   The grant was very easy to apply for through...
