Our lakeside clubhouse was completely rebuilt and modernised in 1999/2000 and remains warm, bright and welcoming all year round. Inside you’ll find a well-equipped galley where members can make hot drinks and light snacks, a licensed bar for post-sailing refreshments, spacious changing rooms with plenty of hot showers, central heating, and comfortable seating with panoramic views across the reservoir.

Outside, there’s ample free car parking right next to the clubhouse, secure boat storage in our compound, grassy picnic areas perfect for family days out, and easy launching for dinghies, kayaks, canoes and SUPs. Everything you need for a great day on the water – whether you’re racing, training, swimming or simply relaxing with friends.

Newcomers are always welcome at Rotherham Sailing Club, from complete beginners to experienced racers, children to grandparents. As a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC), we keep fees affordable and focus on getting as many people as possible out on (or in) the water.

You don’t need to own a boat to become a member. We have a fleet of club boats available for hire at just a small charge per session.
