We welcome almost any dinghy under 17ft with a Portsmouth Yardstick of 1030 or slower, perfect for competitive yet fair racing across a wide range of classes. If your boat falls outside these guidelines, just get in touch and the sailing committee will be happy to consider it.

We have a fleet of 17 well-maintained club dinghies ready for members to use – perfect if you’re still deciding what to buy, training, or just want a hassle-free sail.
Members can hire boats by the session for a small charge, or request an annual booking (subject to availability and a few common-sense rules). Sorry, due to insurance requirements, club boats are only available to fully paid-up members.
