Sunday 28th October 2018 see us host our annual Pudding Meeting in aid of the RNLI. Come and race round the cans on the reservoir at Harthill to win Christmas Puddings. This event is open to sailors from all clubs and whilst there is no mandated entry fee, we do ask for a donation to the RNLI, the organisation we all hope we’ll never need, but are glad they are there. The event will be a series of short races with the first race at 11am. We look forward to seeing you there....

read moreIn June the Club applied for and was successful in receiving a £411 grant from Loscar Wind Farm Community Fund towards a £2000+ weed cutter which is mounted on the front of a Dory rescue boat. Members from all sections of the club; Model Yacht, Dinghy Sailors and Yorkshire Outdoor Swimmers (YOS) have spent over 60 hours cutting the weed which has improved the sailing, swimming and fishing. The grant was very easy to apply for through South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation.
